House in the former Higgins and Sons Brewery, Bedford Museum is situated within the picturesque gardens of Bedford Castle, beside the Great Ouse Embankment. The collections reflect the human and natural history of Bedford and the surrounding area.
Displays of a huge variety of recent and fossil animals including birds, shells, many large skeletons of mammals and displays that trace the evolution of life. Programme of temporary exhibitions and fammily activities.
